Benavente House

This house features a design language of great formal simplicity, rooted in a strong concern for privacy. The facades—mostly opaque, structural, and understated—are punctuated by controlled openings, protected by metal structures that filter natural light and shield the interior spaces. This interplay between openings and containment defines the home’s architectural expression.

The color palette, dominated by shades of white and ochre, creates a cohesive, sophisticated, and timeless look.

In contrast to the complex’s predominant orthogonality, the entrance to the garage—located on the basement level—takes on a sinuous form that creates a welcoming and transitional atmosphere. Here, concrete takes on a sculptural role, marking the arrival path and lending a distinct character to this moment of entry.

Inside, the house takes advantage of the slope of the roof, creating generous, asymmetrical ceiling heights that enhance the sense of space and allow for a rich and varied influx of natural light throughout the day.
