Teófilo Braga Building

The project focuses on an existing building, proposing a complete reconfiguration with the goal of transforming the space and creating environments with a balanced, functional, and elegant atmosphere.

The project is organized into two duplex apartments, distributed across different floors, taking advantage of the building’s verticality and the relationship between spaces. This verticality allowed for the introduction of an almost sculptural element—the staircase—finished in a terracotta-orange hue, which runs through the interior and gives the space a unique identity that is both welcoming and expressive.

The landscaped patio area adds value to the complex, establishing a direct connection to the outdoors and contributing to the quality of life.

The project thus seeks to reconcile the rehabilitation of the existing structure with a contemporary approach, in which spatial organization, natural light, and the relationship between interior and exterior play a central role. Every detail here has been carefully considered with functionality in mind.
